Terms and Conditions:
1) These general terms and conditions are designed to be used with the pet information sheet completed for all customers. Any booking where an information sheet has not been completed and signed by the customer will NOT be covered by the Pompey Pet Nanny’ s (PPN) Insurance.
2) All bookings are to made through the PPN herself (Miss K Williams). All PPN pet carers are directly employees of PPN. As such, PPN pet carers are not permitted to work directly for the client and infringement of this will result in the employment being terminated. We respectfully ask that you do not place our pet carers in that position Dog sitting southsea
3) All pet sitting bookings require an intial consultation with the PPN or employee. There is no obligation at this point by either party to continue with the booking. if either the client, the PPN or employee are not happy, they may cancel at this time. However a small deposit is payable in order to secure the booking. You are not required to pay this at the time of the consultation however the booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposits are as follows:
£5 per day per dog, £8 per day (for 2 dogs), £2 per day for cats.
So for example if you had one dog staying for 7 days, the deposit would equate to £35.
4) For customers who require regular dog walking services, payment in cash at the end of each week is required or one months payment in advance. This is due to the amount of non payers that I have encountered over the last few months.
5.) Should PPN or PPN employee be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from the clients pet, the client shall be responsible for all payment of costs incurred by the carer in receiving treatment and subsequent care plus any legal costs arising as a consequence.
6) All dogs are required by law to have an identification tag and collar with the owners name and address. PPN reserves the right not to walk dogs without this required identification in place and dogs without an id tag and collar are NOT covered by PPN insurance.I can provide tags at no extra cost that are removed when the dog leaves. Please ask for details.
7) The client confirms that all pets are fully vaccinated, have up to date flea and worm treatments, are not in heat, and in good health (unless so stated in information sheet)
8) If your pet(s) behaviour or condition prohibits PPN or employee of PPN for caring for them, the client authorises their pets to be placed in a kennel/ cattery or other suitable accommodation with all charges incurred payable by the client. There will be a minimum £20 charge for transporting the animal in this instance plus mileage costs.
9) All customers must specify if they wish their dog to be let off the lead. PPN insurance does NOT cover dogs to be let off, however with a signed consent form and agreement with the individual pet carer PPN can do so . However the PPN and employees cannot be held responsible for any injury or accident caused to or caused by, the customers pet whilst off lead
10) In the event of severe weather conditions, dog walking may be cancelled as deemed dangerous. In this instance the PPN or employee will check on each dog and let them out in garden if possible, play with them etc . The client realises that the carer will have several dogs to check on and so realises that this type of visit will not be a full hour. Dog boarding southsea
12) Booking for dog pet sitting are charged at daily rates not overnight rates. Arrival days and departure days are charged as full, separate days
13) Should the original sitter be taken ill and/or unable to finish the booking, another suitable pet carer will be allocated and all owners informed of the change. If you wish to shorten your booking (eg you return early from your holiday), you will not be entitled to a refund.
14) PPN is insured by Pet Business Insurance and covers employer and public liability as well as full care and custody of animals and key cover. Full details are available on request from PPN
15) Customers must make pet carers aware of any unsociable, violent or otherwise undesirable behaviour prior to the booking. Whilst pet carers are fully competent in their handling of animals, failure to disclose any relevant information may result in the customer being liable for any costs that arise through the actions that could have been prevented through the disclosure of this information. This includes but is not limited to cleaning costs, furniture repair, damage to personal items, and kennelling costs.
16) Wherever possible, PPN will endeavour to follow the emergency procedures agreed in the information sheet. However, in instances where this is not possible (eg emergency contact in not contactable) PPN reserves the right to make decisions to ensure the welfare of the pet.

17) If your pet requires veterinary attention during the course of the booking, PPN will arrange for your pet to see a veterinary surgeon. All veterinary fees are the clients responsibility. Pet sitting portsmouth
18)If you request us to terminate our services once a booking has commenced , no refund will be given
19) Any additional expenses incurred by the pet carer during the course of the booking must be paid directly to PPN within 7 days of the end of booking. This may include, but is not limited to, additional food, emergency home repairs, emergency kennels and vets bills and will all be supported with receipts.
20) The following days are subject to special rates: all bank holidays, Christmas day and Christmas Eve, Boxing day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Dog boarding southsea
21) If the client fails to collect the pet without informing PPN as to why, after 7 days the pet becomes the property of the PPN, and a charge of £30 per extra day that the dog is not collected will be payable.Dog sitting portsmouth
